About 'Go Paint'
This project was developed by Andy Touch, during his final year of 'Interactive Media Production' at Bournemouth University.
Go Paint is a first-person navigated, 3D painting tool/sandbox. The player walks through the blank canvas world and can paint the environment around them, with a wide range of different brush sizes/types/colors at their disposal!
The player has the choice to either paint on the walls of the environment, creating 2D masterpieces. Or, they can paint on a 'divider' object and create primitive 3D in-game objects. This feature allows the player to walk around and through their creations, thus adding physical depth to the art.
Once the player has finished creating their artwork, they can then take a screenshot of what they have made and upload it to be displayed in the ever-growing art gallery, joining all other player's painted creations.
